I had the opportunity to go to Bethany Prayer Center’s Remnant Conference and these are the notes from it. Good speakers and God did amazing things in my life and others..

*1 Cor. 16:13-14
Four faces of leadership
~If we can cause the leaders of the church to rise up in purity the nation will change.
~Holiness is not optional. It doesnt matter the size of the church, but the size of the character in the church.
1. Be alert- face of the eagle. Watching in several areas:
Money-get a budget, dont exceed 35% in bldg. Designated offerings. Be careful in perilous times.
Purity-sexual relationships, 5 steps that illicit an affair
1. Look
2. Touch
3. Embrace
4. Kiss= full blown affair
Purity is like virginity, when its gone, its gone. Dont take it for granted.
3. Watch your example-lead by example
4. Watch your marriage & kids, intimacy has nothing to do with sexuality, but with the opening of your life to others.

2. Stand firm in the faith-Ox
Consistency-dont belittle the fact that you are in the plow/yolk.
The spirit of the ox is a commitment. Working consistently
~Our word is our bond. What you say in ministry is what you should mean.
3 Act like a man- Lion
Lions have no fear, stand strong. BOLDNESS
Take control over the things God has given you.
~They are fearless, protective, & decisive.
4. Let everything you do be done in love- face of a man
~Love..A sucessful pastor will be a man who loves his ppl!! If you dont love ppl youre not fit for pastoral ministry.
-Love your leaders…
-Love your city- everybody in your city cant fit in your church. You have to have partners.
Love you enemies- pray for them but dont add fuel from what they are doing to your life. You live tour life.
Love the world 4.7 billion lost ppl in the world.

~A hero sacrifices for the betterment of other ppl. Your ministry matters to God. Most ppl start out as originals and end up as carbon copies of others. God made you to be you.
~Council in a heart is a deep well, a man of understand draws it out.
Never confuse prominence and significance.
God is looking for holy ppl,

*1 John 2:12-17
john 3:16 talks about the ppl of the world but 1 John talks about dont love the values of the world.
~If you want the anointing of god of life you need to build your life on integrity, generosity, and humility.
>>Lust of flesh is passion
It is the temptation to feel.
>>Lust of the eyes is possesion
I see it I want it. Materialism
>>Pride of life is position.
To be, i want to be liked, loved envied, worship, you want ppl to be like you. Hedonism
~Never confuse your values with your valuables.
~Every advertisement on television uses these enticements.
~Adam & Eve looked at the fruit and it was pleasing to the eye>>>>>>lust of the eyes
Taste good>>>>>lust of the flesh
you will be as a god>>>>>>pride of life
~Satan plays off of legitimate needs. Satan will try to use what God has gifted you for ministry to use for your own intentions.
~Dont bleed from the pulpit. Life isnt about achievement but about relarionships. Love ppl.
~God gets glory through sacrifice not through show off. Dont show off!! its about you not about him. The temptation to show off and impress is enormous.
~You can impress ppl from a distance, but you influence ppl up close.
~Integrity, interger a unit of one…integrate dont compartmentalize your life. It means you are exactly who you are no matter where you are. The moment you wegment your life you’ve already lost your integrity.
~Have you loss early in life. Preseason, spring training.
~Integrity isnt about the church but about the ppl All my life is a total whole.
Take care of your body. Everything youre gonna do for God, youre gonna do with your body.
~Generosity. Everytime you give you break the grip of materialism. it is in giving that you become more like Christ.
~Love knows no boundaries. The government upholds laws our roll is to have compassion.
~Humility- is not denying your strengths but being honest about your weaknesses.. Everything you learn in life you learn by models.
~Be a model. Leadership is not the abilit to predict the future. Vision is the ability to see God in the moment and move when he moves. Humility is a choice.
~Dont pray for humility just do it. Humility isnt thinking less of yourself but thinking of your self less.
~God is looking for ppl to use. If you are usable, he will wear you out.

~When God gives you somehing to help you breathe for one more day, you dont want to forget it.
~God doesnt wait to finish you before he begins to use you.
~Theres a difference between unanswered prayer and delayed prayers. The cross was never intended to be the last chapter in your story.
~We are headed to a revival or unprecedented
*Joel 2:
We are in the presence realm. Presence is a subject of reality but glory is the object of reality.
~In the presence realm everybody gets something different based on the level of faith they came in the building with.
~When the glory comes everyone has the same experience. It doesnt matter what condition you came into the meeting with.
~You love the presence but you were created for glory. Youll never be satisfied until you touch the glory of God.
*1 Cor. 14:24-25
~the lithmus test for new testament worship is not about what the believers say but what the unbelievers say.
~The desperate need is not for more ppl in our churches but having God in our churches.

~When the revival comes whom does he intrust that to?
~If at the presence realm we use his name to enlarge our own name, what will we do in the glory realm.
~The glory level is a whole different level. In the kingdom of God, church is not a business. God is a lovesick bridegroom that is looking for a churh.
~Jesus never intended worship to be a tool for church growth.
~You better be invited in to something that is personal. The king of the universe does not need help with his personal love life.
~When you violate the bride of christ, He takes it personal

Bridegroom- Jesus
John the baptist- best man
~There is a day coming when the bride of Christ will forget your name.
John the baptist never says he has a friendship with the bride but with the bridegroom.
~The bridegroom says serve her until i come.
The friend of the bridegroom doesnt describe His friendship to the bride but to the bridegroom.
~The job of the friend is to remind the bride(church) of the bridegroom that is waiting for her.
~Dont be in ministry to grow it. Be in it because you love the bridegroom and its not business its personal.
~the true friend of the bridegroom is one whose life vision is to where nobody can help you.
~The proof of your passion is in your pursuit.
~You cant help me, but you cant hinder me either. ~Whatever ppl can help you with they can hinder you with
~A passionate pursuit for God cant be stopped.
~The friend of God has a loyalty for the bridegroom.
Its possible to preach Christ and proclaim myself. Its not about me!!!
~The more skillfull you are about serving the bride(church) the more the bride(church) notices. ~When the bride starts directing the attention towards the friend she is ripe for marriage, but the attention is supposed to be on the bridegroom.
*Esther 2:15
~My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus.
~God is raising up spiritual eunuchs that he has cut off the desire for the bride(church)
~Jesus knows how to knock the business out of us. ~Decide to move when God moves you!!
*Job 42
~God will deal with us according to our folly.

~A staff leader that doesnt agree with the vision isnt a staff leader. It takes all kinds of churches to reach all kinds of ppl.
~God loves variety. You can not surrender the direction of your church to whiners.
~If you want to be free you have to let ppl be free.
~God has called you to feed sheep not caroul goats. God calls ppl through your church, not just to your church.
~Compensation committee
~Have an enormous capacity for uncertainty.
~Timing is critical with opportunities. Every opportunity is not an open door.
~Have outside council. Stay in your rhythm.

~How bad do you want the kingdom of God in your life. The kingdom of God is wherever Jesus is king. The kingdom of God is not about talk.
~5 global Goliaths
1. Spiritual emptiness
You are not an accident. Your parents may not have planned you but God has planned you.
2. Ego-centric leadership
opposite of servant leadership. If you want to be great serve. Most ppl dont have the spiritual maturity to handle power. The purpose of influence is to speak up for those who have none.
~They dont need a hand out, they need a hand up. When youre not right with God, youre not right with everybody else.
3. Extreme poverty
Half of the population of the world makes under $2 a day.
4. Pandemic diseases
500 million ppl this year will get malaria. We need leaders to rise up and say enough is enough. We need to care for the widows and orphans.
5. Illiteracy
Half of the world cant read or write.
Five things Jesus did to cime against the goliaths

1. Planted a church
I will build my church
2. He equipped servant leaders
He spent 3yrs equpping servants. He loved everybody. Fed the 5,000 he trained 120, discipled the 12 but mentored 3. Jesus spent the maximum time with the ones that do the maximum work.
3. Assisted the poor
God loves the poor. 2,000 verses are about the poor.
*Luke 4:18 He announces his agenda for ministry. If you care about the poor he will take care of your needs.
4. He cared for the sick
Jesus was a preacher, teacher, & healer. He doesnt just care about getting us into heaven but our mind and body.
5. He educated the next generation
~If you want to be about the kingdom of God, you have to care about childrens ministry.
~The truth will set you free. it will point out our self centeredness.
~The church has more outlets than any organization in the world. If every church stopped their service, in 2 weeks the government would crumble.
~Jesus gave us the strategy for world missions.
When you take responsibility for ppl you disable their creativity.
The proper way to go about missions Jesus way.
~Dont take a purse=money
~Dont take a staff= authority
~Eat what is set before you= adopt to their culture
Fit in!
~Find the man of peace=influential and receptive the grandma of the village
~The person of peace doesnt have to be a christian because when Jesus was sending the disciples out there wasnt any christians.
~Dont go by yourself, go in teams
8 principles of world missions in the Acts church.

~You have to have bifocal vision locally & globally
Radical means to be rooted. Radicalis
1. Supernatural power
~There is a direct connection between prayer & power.

~You have a language that God wants to use for the nations.

3 M’s of mission
~Invest seed in pastors and watch what God does.
*Romams 10:12-15
1. Mandate
Dvelop a missions mandate. Different from a conviction. A mandate is something i will give my life to advance.
~When you see 35 lines of ppl waiting in line to hear the gospel it will change your schedule.
~God wants us to change our mandate
2. Method
~A mandate without a method has no purpose. It does no good to have a fire without traction.
Method of multiplication
Through discipleship/ G12

~God’s method is a man. Find the one
3. Money
~You dont need money if you dont have the right mandate and method in place.
~God is not witholding money from you. He will give you everyhing you need.
*2 Cor. 9:9
~If theres a big enough reason why, you will figure out the why. Dont straighten the pictures in a burning house.

The charter of the servant of God
~The word of God calibrates our spirit. God does not circularly but straight forward. Move forward and break out. A river that flows in a circle becomes a swamp.
~Gods river does not flow in a circle. A river seeks the sea.

~The under garment is important. Live a sexually clean life. God knows how to put the honey back into the moon….(honeymoon)
~The perfect husband is the one that doesnt expect his wife to be perfect. The perfect wife is one who doesnt expect her husband to be perfect.
~God is God of the old & new testament.
~When the priest forgot to put on his under garment no on knew except two ppl. The priest & God.
~Be determined to live a holy life.

~Some ppl can fooled and sometimes all ppl can be fooled, but thats not the testimony God is looking for.

~The anointing is attractive. If you want the bond of marriage to stick, you have to be clean.

~The kingdom of God represents the authority of God.
*Ps. 89 he rules in righteousness and justice
~Baptism is a sign of lordship.
~There is a difference between the anointing of christ and the authority of christ. Most ppl want to feel good but they dont want to get in alignment. Get out of your church mentality and get into kingdom mentality.
1. The cross is still the way to God
~There is great authority that comes when we abandon everything except the cross.
~Everybody loves the resurrection but nobody loves the crucifiction. Everybody wants direction but nobody wants correction.
~Growth means more souls being saved but its not the goal of the kingdom.
*v. 15-16
~Not evertbody who preaches is right. Stop supporting ppl that arent living right.
1 the cross is a gate but ts also a tree.
~Out of the death of the cross comes the fruit. There has to be a death process for the fruit to be fleshly.
~When you carry your cross you will kill the desires of your flesh. Shadyness is next door to sin.
~Anything that is shady didnt come from the cross. The cross will produce pure fruit.

*v. 21
~Divine order-it begins with marriages and families. Dont spend more time with the dysfunctional that you forget the functional.
~There is no conference more important than your anniversary.
Baptism is the first step of lordship, and tithing is the second.
~You cant be disobedient to the command of the lord but expect your sheep to be obedient.
~Divine order brings peace and security.
~Be a good steward of what you have.

~The suffering of the cross.
~If its too good to be true then it probably is. ~If something used to be wrong but now its right. Watch out!!

~We need to start teaching ppl to overcome instead of cope.
~Just because youre a male doesnt make you a man. Teach the next generation to endure, then live it out in front of them.
~The cross represents endurance.

~An apostle sees the full scope of the kingdom.
A gift is something that naturally awes us. Dont be premature in elevating a gift.
~See what you see…God will allow you to hear or see things that will let you know what direction to go.

~God has no maximum..He has unlimited power. Jesus didnt come to condemn the world but to save it. Dont limit God.

~God invites us to enter into the joy of soul saving. feelings can be lying feelings.
~The Holy Spirit is not a commodity. The third person of the trinity. No person can appear in percentages. He’s always here.

~Fear is the darkroom where ppl develop their negatives.
~There is only one source of the anointing…Jesus
~If you receive someone’s anointing you receive a second hand anointing. Only Jesus is the baptiser in the Holy Spirit.
~Our God isnt a duplicator, he is a creator. He works with originals. He doesnt have a copier machine.
~God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. Jesus didnt come to deliver sermons but to deliver ppl. Preaching the gospel intercepts ppl into heaven. The cross is the biggest roadblock of all time. The majority is on their way to hell but the cross changes their direction.
~Our count is not God’s count. He counts right and misses none.
~When God created us he stamped his image on us. In Him we find our identity. He has right to every person. Our life must rightfully belong to God because we are a bearer of his image.
